The two main annual events are the Christmas Bazaar and the Summer Fayre. The pupils are actively involved in both of these events. At other times during the year there may be a quiz or race night for the adults. The children get an opportunity to let their hair down at the Valentine Disco or end of year junior discos.
FOSD is also responsible for organizing many other social events, both fun and fund raising. We also runn the second hand uniform sales and the school shop. The shop is open twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays (12 noon until 1:30 approximately) selling stationery items, books, greeting cards, novelty stationery items etc. from 5p. It is well supported by the girls in year three upwards.
