Our Firework Party on Saturday 8th November was a great success.The food (provided by FoSD volunteers) was up to the usual high standard, the beer and wine (and soft drinks, of course), flowed freely and a great time was had by all. The disco provide to be particullaty good, especially popular with the children and the fancy dress costumes added to the atmosphere in the Performing Arts Centre.
Sadly,at the last minute the pyrotechnian couldn't attend and the firework display itself has been postponed to a
later date. We will post news as soon as the new occasion has been
arranged. Entry will, of course, be free to the newevent. My apologie
for the delay, but the spectre of "health and Saftey" is even stronger
than the Halloween sppoks, I'm afraid.
