The boat was named Phoenix by one of the girls in a launching cermony back in May. It has already proved popular with the girls and staff and has attracted a considerable amount of interest in the school. The canoe provides backup to the dragon boat, but is also a valuable addition in its own right to the craft for the school's lake.We hope that the progrtamme of water-based events available to the girls will steadily increase.

Following this aquatic theme, we made a donation to a local charity PhabSail, which organizes sailing evens for disabled people. We also made a donation to the Willow foundation which provides uplifting experiences for terminally ill young people.

Within the school we've completed thefinal consignment of latops for the Science Department

We also funded a new mannequin for the Textiles department.

The Projector and Boofor the Modern forgein Languages department is still in progress, as we had problems obtaining exactly what they needed at a reasonable price.

Similarly, we've not yet been able to honour our pledge to provide alar cloths for the chapel: not a question of funds, we simply can't find matching materials!

We've also provided equipment to the Drum group and support for the Gymnastics team in their successes at the national championships.
