It might have saved the site, but the governors' choice is the worst possible for the girls of St. David.s. Please express your opinion by voting in our poll

Many parents are taking different steps in attempts to see what can be done to save the school.

Maggie Cooper is talking to David Wilshire, our local Spelthorne MP. She is meeting with him next week. She is also trying to establish contacts with various people in Wales who have an interest in St. David's.

Delaina Westwood-Booth plans to contact the BBC Restoration programme - even if St. David's cannot continue as a school I think most of us feel that the building must be preserved and not suffer the usual fate of buildings in Ashford and be turned into  blocks of flats. Delaina will also be contacting the Prince's Trust for advice, as she knows several people there.

Our weblinks section contains pointers to the Facebook campaign and on-line petition launched by the pupils.

If anyone is  talking to the media, please be positive. At this stage simply blaming the governors, or anyone else, for the current state of affairs will not further our attempts to save the school.
