Reassuring parents - and girls

One comment from last night was with reference to deposits that parents have had to pay for places at other schools. This is obviously a problem for parents who would prefer to stay. IES said, that other schools shouldn't really put parents in that position while it is possible to save St. David's and added "well, if they want to play that game, what if I said you could discount any non-refundable deposit from your next term's fees at St. Davids?" - he also said "we've got deeper pockets than they have"
Sme people have said that the senior school might not show as much support as the prep school for any continuation fof St. David;'s as they must decide now if their girls are to settle for examinations.
But think about it - if you daughter is in Year 10 you must be worried that her coursework will count next year, that the examination boards are the same, that she will be able to continue with the options she's currently doing. So why not stay at St. David's and all of these worries melt away?
